The main screen
Top section
1) Login and registration buttons
2) Frequently asked questions and search buttons
3) The screen being viewed
- when moving to one of the forums this will change - e.g.
will appear when viewing the Imaging forum, Also shows two buttons for viewing unanswered posts and active topics.
4) The names of each forum group - i.e. Announcements. Biological, Historical etc
5) The actual forums i.e. Items of historical interest, Items for sale, Items wanted etc
6) These columns show the number of topics and posts in each forum, plus the name of the latest member to make a post and the date/time of the post.
Lower section
7) This box shows who is on line - divided into registered (they have logged in), hidden (not allowed on our forum) and guests (visitors who have not logged in).
8) Shows the total number of posts, topics and current membership. Also shows latest registration.
9) You can log in here to save going back to the top of the page.
Times shown on the forum are based on Greenwich time (UTC) and allow for "Summer time". You can change this to fit your own time zone when registering.
