Notes
1) The search engine will carry out a search on the open site and members' area - it will not search the Forum and Slide Database, which are on another server and have their own search functions.
2) IMPORTANT The results page shows the URL (page address) for each item found. If you see an address such as : -
URL: http://www.quekett.org.uk/members/files/magazine/cobham/2010.html (i.e.with the word 'members' included)
the page in question is within the members' area and will only be accessible to members with a current membership. Non-members will be refused access by the system
3) We will be adding search facilities for PowerPoint presentations, PDF files etc at a later date.
4) We have also started to add highlighting on the document page - showing the word requested highlighted in yellow. This will take a little while to complete, as the script on each page has to be modified. Whilst this work is taking place many pages will not show highlighting of the search word.
As at 4th July virtually all the pages in the open site have been modified and many in the members' area.
